- It takes about 15-20 minutes to inflate the mat by itself. The maximum filling of the mat is achieved by inflating it by mouth. During long hikes in temperatures below 0ºC, it is not recommended to inflate the mat by mouth.
- It may take about 48 hours for the mat to inflate for the first time, and longer in cold weather. Laying the mat out in the sun can help the foam expand. You can also press air into the foam that has not fully expanded with the valve closed. This should unstick the foam.
- When adding air by mouth, be careful! The surface of the mat must be flat and not exceed the specified dimensions , otherwise damage to the item may occur.
